Have you and your Four-Leggeds been enjoying “The Dog Days of Summer”?

That special time in late July and early August when it is luxuriantly warm? When the Dog Star rises at about the same time as our sun?

Blackie and I have been taking advantage of this special time of year to leisurely ride at the walk on the trail and in the outdoor arena. To think that Blackie is 30 years old! He is as spirited as ever and doesn’t know his age.

Likewise, Shadow, at 14 ish, is still engaged with life, even after her medical setback in May. Always at my side, she is literally my “shadow”! Thank God for miracles! I am so grateful!
